I haven't kept this section very well updated! My bad!

A few weeks ago an article on Peacock was in a local Des Moines paper, and this photo was published.
Featuring Ellen's backside... It would have been nice to see her face!

Michael Morain, the author of the article I posted earlier from The Des Moines Register,
blogged a little about his experience hanging out on set as well. Here's an EP-related excerpt:
"To pass the time, Ellen shared headphones with her publicist and watched a video iPod for awhile. In her jeans and hoodie, she looked just like Juno – without the baby bump. (We traded a little small talk and she seemed pretty cool. Very down-to-earth. Very chill.)"

Though these are from about a week and a half ago, here are two articles (
1 and
2) about Peacock filming in Bridgewater, IA. Man... these small town folks sound like they're getting quite the big thrill-- I'm jealous!
Also, I'm so frustrated these didn't come up in my searches earlier for HTH's knowledge but there's still some helpful info. The second article says, "They planned to film scenes in Afton on Sunday and Lorimor on Monday" and the first article says, "They will be filming in Greenfield May 27, 28 and 29." Maybe Thursday is the day Ellen's set to be on set, but apparently they'll be there starting Tuesday.
Additionally, the second article states, the movie "should be released by the end of this year." Does the second time that's been stated mean it's true?!?!

An actor named Paul Cram
blogged today about filming his role as Kenny (a "gangly teenage stock boy at the local general store is annoyed when John rushes in near closing time for a few items" ) with Cillian Murphy.
He needs to learn how to spell Ellen's last name and kind of looks like bigger foreheaded Ben Foster, but it's a cute story ...

Another actor, Leigha Horton,
blogged a bit about her part in Peacock...
not too revealing, except for the fact that the film takes place in mid-60s, like An American Crime interestingly.

According, to Peacock's line producer, Brian Bell, who spoke with the
Boone News Republican, the film wrapped June 9th.
"Bell said the film crew began shooting the movie on May 6, and they will conclude the process on Monday. However, with video editing being essential to the film's overall success, Bell said the movie will not hit the big screen until 2009."

The
Script and a few
VERY unrevealing photos from the set have been released.
Unfortunately, Ellen is not in any of the photos...
But this is a step in the right direction!

I think I've got you all caught up now!
Thanks VERY much to Jaimie and iLoveThisPage from the Ellen Page Online forum for all the news!!!!
